тренинг: Certified Scrum Product Owner™ by Stacia Viscardi

Международная сертификация: CSPO .
Язык мероприятия: английский.

Описание мероприятия

As more companies adopt agile methods, the role of the product owner becomes ever critical in the rapid development of products. Traditionally, a project manager gathers requirements in the usual ways and manages a team as they execute the requirements,; usually, there is very little or no contact with the customer and/or end users in these traditional scenarios.

Agile changes this in that the product owner directly and continuously works with the development team members throughout the course of the project. Whereas a traditional project manager would make decisions about scope, time and cost, product owners now own these decisions real-time in the agile world.

This course introduces the product owner to Scrum as well as helps them understand their role and responsibilities in helping the team deliver high-quality software that meets users’needs. This course results in the Certified Scrum Product Owner™ (CSPO) Certificate.

Course Level: Intermediate

Target Audience: Product managers, business analysts, “upstream” team members like procurement, sales.

Course Prerequisites: Review ScrumGuide

Course Objectives:

  1. By a series of hands-on learning exercises, participants will understand the difference in philosophy and practice of Scrum vs. traditional project management techniques.
  2. Participants will discuss new ideas about procurement, contracting, and costing so that product delivery may be agile from the onset.
  3. Participants will learn how to align work to business goals and products, and “resourcing” the agile way.
  4. Participants will understand the ideas behind just-in-time requirements and will also learn how to balance this with agile planning techniques.
  5. Participants will learn different techniques for estimation for different points in time in the project.
  6. Participants will learn the importance of a well-organized, prioritized product backlog.
  7. Participants will learn how agile teams write “requirements”, as well as their role in product visioning, creating effective road-maps, marrying results and adapting plans to market/customer needs, release/iteration planning and acceptance of product at a sprint review.
  8. Participants will learn how to prepare stories for various levels of planning, including proper acceptance criteria and Gherkin scenario language.
